Contacting the Masters
Wherever the name of an archangel, an Elohim, or an ascended being is written or spoken, there is the focus of that Electronic Presence. Maitreya's coming: Buddhist scriptures record that Gautama prophesied the advent of a future Buddha whose name would be Metteyya (Pali; Maitreya in Sanskrit). In the Pali text Mahaparinibbana Suttanta, Gautama tells his chief disciple, Ananda, “In due time another Buddha will arise in the world, a Holy One, a supremely enlightened One....He will reveal to you the same eternal truths which I have taught you....He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and pure; such as I now proclaim.” When Ananda asks, “How shall we know him?” Gautama replies, “He will be known as Metteyya, which means `he whose name is kindness'” (Paul Carus, The Gospel of Buddha [La Salle, Ill.: Open Court Publishing Co., 1894], p. 245). Maitreya is derived from the Sanskrit maitri, which means “friendliness,” “benevolence,” or “goodwill.”
Maitreya's byword is "loving-kindness".
Maitreya's says that we may vow to sustain the earth through love.
We may also vow to serve and save the earth through love.

For I, Melchizedek, place my Electronic Presence at this altar and I will tend it. Let the fallen ones who dare enter or attack it deal with my flame and the One whom I serve.
I AM forever and forever Melchizedek! I AM king of Jerusalem, the Holy City of God! I AM priest of the Most High. Without father, without mother, or beginning or ending of days I AM THAT I AM. For I have descended from the LORD God and I am not ready to return to the Central Sun whence I came until this work be finished."

In 1969, I, William Star, received the inspiration "The Great Synthesis", and at that time, I knew that their was a Great Synthesis of the World's Religions. Later I learned that there are two dictations that have been given through the Summit Lighthouse called The Great Synthesis, and they are listed below. In particular, I love the one given by Confucius. You may order one or both of these from the Summit Lighthouse. I believe that this website is the gradual outpicturing of the Great Synthesis, that is, the Great Integration or Summation of the highest and best truth.
""On July 2, 1977, Padma Sambhava announced the bestowing of the mantle of Guru upon the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet. See “The Great Synthesis—The Mother as Guru,” cassette B7745.
On August 28, 1977, Confucius revealed the name “Guru Ma.” See “The Path of the Great Synthesis: The One Whom We Call Guru Ma,” cassette B7813.
The term “Guru Ma” means that the Teacher (Guru) is devoted to the Divine Mother (Ma) of us all and to the teaching of her sons who, throughout the ages, East and West, have exemplified the soul's integration with God through the universal Light, manifest as the incarnate Word. Through the messenger's devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the feminine principle in every soul, she was given the mantle of bearing the Mother flame. Concerning the path of the Mother, Lanello has explained that “when you say Ma, it is the acknowledgment that in the one Guru Mother [God as Mother, the Omega Light of Cosmos] the entire chain of Gurus is manifest. Whether Mother or Maitreya, it is the Ma of a cosmos that rings....That sounding of the name is the sounding of the cry for help. And all of the four cosmic forces who bow before her throne of grace will respond upon the call of the chelas near and far.” Lanello, April 8, 1979.""

Here is an interesting teaching from one of the Pearls of Wisdom from the Summit Lighthouse about a "Temple of Understanding" that the Masters would like to have built in Washington, D.C.:
"Clarification or the clearing up of these whole matters would be easy enough if men would have faith in the Ascended Masters and could sit directly at our feet and receive the instruction we elect to give to those who do. Purposefully, a very orderly program has been set up by the Darjeeling and Indian Councils of the Great White Brotherhood for sequential release through the Pearls of Wisdom of The Summit Lighthouse. The goal of the Ascended Masters' councils is the promotion of greater understanding among the various religions of the world, so as to prepare the way for the desired unity in understanding which must enfold the world in the golden age. In that connection El Morya has inspired upon one of his devotees the creation of a Temple of Understanding to be built in Washington, D.C., the capital city of the United States, as a forerunner temple to the magnificent Temple of Victory which is to be so masterfully raised in the physical world from the Temple of Victory in the etheric realms at a later date, when certain steps now lacking are taken and the lovely forerunner Temple of Understanding is at last a reality."
It is also important to understand that Mother Mary gave a series of 13 dictations called "The Temple of Understanding" and these are in the Pearls of Wisdom of the Summit Lighthouse beginning with Vol. 15 No. 29 -- July 16, 1972.
