Mantras
Including Affirmations, the Names of God, etc. Mantras or mantrams are sacred sounds, syllables, words, phrases, and the names of God that we can repeat to uplift our consciousness and to find union with God. We can repeat them silently, out loud, or chant them. Mantra yoga or japa yoga is the repetition of mantras to achieve union with God. The word yoga comes from the root word "yoke" or "to yoke", that is, to join together, or to find union with. So the purpose of all yoga is to find union with God, and the repeating these mantras, prayers, and affirmations can help us do that. The dialogue came up because someone said to her (Elizabeth Clare Prophet) - in regard to mantras - that what was unusual about (some of the) mantras (in the Summit Lighthouse) is that they were in English. And aren't most people used to hearing mantras in Sanskrit? she asked Elizabeth Clare Prophet Elizabeth Clare Prophet's reply: "The ascended masters who have come forward to give the teaching of God in this age have explained that it is important that people understand the meaning of the mantra. English is a peculiar language. It has gone through many histories. English comes down through the ancient tongues of Atlantis and has a particular vibration and an affinity, believe it or not, to a certain angelic tongue. And therefore there is a special energy for this age that actually comes through the English language. I think this is the real reason for English traveling around the world through the discoveries and explorations of the British Empire. The name of God, I AM THAT I AM, has a vibration and a frequency in English that it does not have in any other Western language. I recently read a study that indicated that Gaelic and Irish are similar to Hebrew and that the Hebrew patterns were actually transferred by the tribes of Israel as they dispersed throughout the earth. Prior to the Hebrew tongue, there were the tongues that were spoken on Atlantis, and prior to that the languages that were spoken by the early root races on Lemuria. Sanskrit comes down from the early Lemurian tongue." There are three main ways to do mantras, and they are: It is important to remember that mantras do the most good, that is, they are the most effective when they are done with love and devotion, that is, with the love or fire of the heart. The following is part of a prayer from the Hearts Center, and is a beautiful teaching that we may meditate on: Release the culture of the Mother unto all on earth, Sound is one of the greatest powers there is; especially the repetition of the mantra in the spoken word or sound. Sound has been used in both the creation of worlds and the destruction of continents, such as Atlantis. So let us use the sound of mantras -- the chanting of mantras -- to create a "new world," and help to bring in a New Age -- a Golden Crystal Age of Victory. Mantras of the Universal Word -- The Universal Sound Aum (A is for Alpha or Father, U is for You or Us, M is for Mother or Omega) Thus there are cycles in nature, cycles keyed in the very nucleus of every atom of Matter, whereby the sound of the AUM is sounded from heart center to heart center, from star to star and sun to sun, and from the white fire core of every element of earth.
This sounding of the AUM of God's harmony is like the vibrating of God's tuning fork calling Home the atoms of his blessed substance. Om (Omega, Mother) Note: It is good that a home be centered in the Om and in the consciousness of Omega, the Mother God. It is good to chant the word or mantra "home". Chanting the "Om" and "Home" and "Omega" helps us to come home to the "Om" of Omega, our Mother God. Now we know the inner meaning of "home". Chanting the Om and the "Home" helps us in our Homecoming. And in the word, "Homecoming," we can see two "om's". Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti A Story of the "Om Bound" Man with the "Om Bound" License Plate will be given later. Alpha (Our Father God) Omega (Our Mother God) Alpha to Omega Alma (Al is for Alpha or Father, and "ma" is for Mother or Omega) Ra or Ram or RaRa (Ra or Ram means or implies Father, King, Lord, Prince, Masculine, etc.) Ra I AM or Ram I Am Om Ram, Om Ram, Om Ram, Om Ma or Mam or MaMa (means or implies Mother, Queen, Lady, Princess, Feminine, etc.) Chanting the "Ma" or "MaMa" is the universal mantra for devotion to the Mother, and is also the universal call for the Mother's Presence or help. The term "Guru Ma" means that the Teacher (Guru) is devoted to the Divine Mother (Ma) of us all and to the teaching of her sons who, throughout the ages, East and West, have exemplified the soul's integration with God through the universal Light, manifest as the incarnate Word. Through the messenger's devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the feminine principle in every soul, she was given the mantle of bearing the Mother flame. Concerning the path of the Mother, Lanello has explained that "when you say Ma, it is the acknowledgment that in the one Guru Mother [God as Mother, the Omega Light of Cosmos] the entire chain of Gurus is manifest. Whether Mother or Maitreya, it is the Ma of a cosmos that rings....That sounding of the name is the sounding of the cry for help. And all of the four cosmic forces who bow before her throne of grace will respond upon the call of the chelas near and far." Lanello, April 8, 1979."" **************************************************** Mantras for the Celebration In order to greet the Buddha who resides in the secret chamber of the heart, whose chakra is the thousand-petaled lotus of the crown, we desire to raise the sacred fire of the Divine Mother (the Kundalini) from the base chakra of the Mother to the crown chakra of the Buddha. And so it is the Divine Mother within us, and our souls' oneness with the Divine Mother in adoration of the Buddha, that causes the light to rise from the base. The Mother is in love with Buddha. The Buddha is in love with Mother. And the Lord Buddha (Yang) draws our Mother to that crown. And our Mother (Yin) is rising to greet her Lord. This is the plus/minus polarity of Alpha and Omega that we would experience in our body temple. This is the purpose of our giving these Buddhist mantras. It is an exercise in the science of the spoken Word-that Word who in the beginning was with Brahman: without whom "was not anything made that was made." I would ask you to center your attention in your heart and to realize that it is the flame of your heart that allows you to participate in the ritual of the union of the Father-Mother God in your chakras. Once the Mother reaches the crown chakra she, escorted by her Lord, descends to the secret chamber of the heart where they give birth to the Inner Buddha. OmOm Mani Padme Hum (Om!
