The following free downloads are relatively safe and excellent. They are on a site called, www.techsoup.org, that helps non-profit organizations, but any and all individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations are welcome to use this site and download the software. The non-profit organization, techsoup, has simply compiled them into a nice list.
A Note of Caution: There are many free downloads on the internet, but in some cases, there may be a virus in the software or other problems, so we do have to be careful about free downloads, but since this list is primarily for non-profit organizations, it is probably very safe -- as safe as you can get.
Hopefully some of this software will be a great benefit to you -- to fulfill your divine plan or mission. In particular, under the topic, office applications, there looks like there is an excellent office suite, Open Office 2.0, totally free, that compares well with the Microsoft Office Suite.
